City of Tallahassee Recognized as Best Mid-size U.S. City by HGTV

The City of Tallahassee is one of the top 20 mid-size cities in the United States, according to HGTV. The latest list of favorite cities with a population between 100,000 and 500,000 published by HGTV recognizes Florida's Capital City for its public parks and green spaces, historic downtown, public art and vibrant nightlife.
"Tallahassee is on the move! This recognition further highlights the amazing quality of life and vibrant culture driven forward by our passionate, creative, innovative community," Mayor John Dailey said. "I'm proud of our City and the positive direction we are headed."
Quality of life is a key component in the City's Strategic Plan with targeted efforts and investments made to ensure Tallahassee is a vibrant and inclusive community with beautiful public spaces that protect and promote resources and culture.
Of the mid-size cities that made the distinguished list, HGTV says, "Visit for the outdoor pursuits, sporting events and public artworks, but be warned: you may be inspired to stay awhile when you check out these places where the living is easy and the fun is almost guaranteed."
