Victory Garden Drive Sidewalk Improvements

The Victory Garden Drive Sidewalk Improvements project will provide a new sidewalk and traffic calming along Victory Garden Drive from Apalachee Parkway to Park Avenue.

Construction on these improvements began July 8, 2024, and was completed by January 2026. The design includes a 6-foot-wide sidewalk with a sodded separation from the road along the west side of the roadway.

Project Goal

• Provide increased pedestrian connectivity along Victory Garden Drive from Apalachee Parkway to Park Avenue
• Slow down speeding vehicles

Typical Section

• Six-foot-wide sidewalk with separation from the roadway
• Street trees where possible
• Enclose existing drainage ditch on one side (west side) of the roadway

Project Schedule

• Design: Complete in Spring 2024
• Construction: Began in July 2024
• Project Completion: Anticipated to finish in 2026
